Patient's Testimony -

My lower back was hurting from a disc problem and I wasn't looking forward to another hospital trip for injections. That seemed to be the only cure, until someone recommended I see Dr. B.

After a couple visits my back was fine. On one of my visits, I jokingly asked if she could fix my acid reflux and she responded, "Yes".

For years my stomach was a mess. I had acid reflux nearly every day. When I left home, I'd grab the car keys, my glasses and the Pepsid Complete (I never went anywhere without my bottle of Pepsid Complete). My family doctor did a variety of tests (x-rays, gastric empty studies, CAT scan, sonograms and even scoped me - from both ends). He prescribed me several different acid reducers, but the reflux continued. The doctors told me I'd probably be on reflux medications for the rest of my life. That wasn't what I wanted to hear.

So, I went back to Dr. B for a nutritional consultation. After she reviewed my symptom history she was able to determine deficiencies in my diet and provide me with needed supplements. Within a couple weeks the reflux was gone. It's been more than a year now and still no problem. I even disposed of all those prescriptions; and the Pepsid Complete.
